Aim of the Balkan Print Forum

- To contribute to a balanced development of the printing industry in the Balkan region by implementing and harmonising the European rules and standards for ecological, low-energy, high-efficiency and high-quality printing in all the Balkan Print Forum partner countries.
- To support the education and qualification of students at print media high schools and universities and young specialists in the printing companies of the Balkan Print Forum partner countries.
- To introduce knowledge management culture to the printing industry of the Balkan Print Forum partner countries.

Main activities of the Balkan Print Forum

- To organise workshops and seminars for the presentation and the exchanging of information and know-how in the field of modern print technology (sheet-fed, web-fed and newspaper printing).
- To support the National Printers Federations of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Greece, Hungary, Rumania, Serbia, Slovenia and Turkey in gathering information about the state of the art and the development of the printing industry in the partner countries.
- To establish and introduce several projects for education and training of students at print media high schools and universities, of printers and managers in printing companies in the region. The training and education should take place in some of the Balkan partner countries and in Germany.
- To supply on demand printing houses with different kinds of current information about modern printing technologies for the ecological, low-energy, high-efficiency and high-quality printing.
- To establish and publish periodically a Balkan Print Forum newsletter.
- To support and service the Balkan Print Forum web site.
